Which Medical Medium book should I start with?

You are dealing with a health problem and you keep hearing about this Medical Medium guy. You have a friend who swears by his recommendations and you are intrigued after having tried everything under the sun to heal your eczema, or chronic fatigue syndrome, or fibromyalgia or autoimmune disease. Or you are just curious, you know so much about health already and you don't think that this guy has anything new to add to your huge library of knowledge, but something is telling you to look him up anyway.

You want to start exploring but it all feels overwhelming with all his books. If this sounds like you, I have made up an easy summary of the first 4 books to help you decide which book to start with.

Book 1 - Medical Medium

This is the first book in the series. It is a good one if you are curious about what makes this guy so special. He explains how he got his gift and started hearing medical information from his source. It brings a lot of humanity to Anthony William and you get a sense of what he has been through in his life.

He talks about the history of healthcare and how we got to this point where more and more people have got chronic illness. He talks a lot about the Epstein-Barr Virus, how it has developed and why it is making so many people sick. He has really beautiful and inspiring healing stories throughout the book, which will convince many sceptics to try his protocols.

He introduces celery juice in this book, as well as the 28 day healing cleanse.

He covers many things in this book:

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Hypothyroid and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis

  • Type 2 Diabetes and Hypoglycemia

  • Adrenal Fatigue

  • Candida

  • Migraines

  • Shingles

  • Colitis

  • TMJ

  • Diabetic Neuropathy

  • ADD and Autism

  • PTSD

  • Depression

  • PMS and Menopause

  • Lyme Disease

  • Gut Health

  • Fruit fear

Book 2 - Life Changing Foods

If you want lots and lots of recipes, this is the book for you. I started with this book, because I was one of those people who thought she knew everything and I was just looking for some new recipes to try. This book covers four categories of foods: fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices; and wild foods.

There is a spotlight on each type of food and a delicious recipe for each type of food. We learn about the benefits of each food, along with the conditions and symptoms each food can support us with. We also learn about how each food supports us emotionally and the spiritual lesson each food teaches us. There are 18 fruits, 11 vegetables, 10 herbs and spices; and 11 wild foods that are covered. You can look up a condition in the index and refer back to which food will support you. It is an amazing resource and very inspiring.

This book transformed the way I looked at plants. I always knew how good they were for me, but this took my knowing to a deeper level and has really made me appreciate each bite I take.

He also speaks about the unforgiving four, which are four factors that are creating so much suffering for people and creating so much chronic illness. These unforgiving four are: radiation, toxic heavy metals, the viral explosion and DDT.

More things that are covered:

  • Adrenal fatigue and the importance of grazing

  • Sunlight exposure and light filled foods

  • Water and living water from food

  • Sugar and caffeine cravings

  • Infertility

  • Food fads

  • Challenging foods to avoid

  • Life changing angels

  • Almost any health condition you can think of is listed in the index, which links to foods to eat to support that condition. So it is a great book to start with.

Book 3 - Thyroid Healing

As you would expect, this book talks about everything to do with thyroid health. This book goes deep into the virus that is causing thyroid problems, where it comes from, how it works and how to get rid of it. It also talks about the triggers that make this virus stronger and cause health problems. The book explains the function of the thyroid and the connection to the liver and adrenals.

However, it covers so much more. It talks about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Breast Cancer, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Eczema and Psoriasis, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Lyme Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hypoglycemia and Type 2 Diabetes, Plantar Fasciitis and many other conditions.

The book explains that the way we speak of autoimmune conditions is incorrect. Saying that the body is attacking itself is incorrect. The truth is that the body never attacks itself. It is only working to protect itself from viruses that are attacking the body.

It is filled with so much compassion and reading it will have you dropping all the beliefs you may have held such as believing that it is the fault of your genes, or that you have attracted or created your illness. It gave me so much hope when I was feeling so helpless and frustrated.

The book explains which foods are causing thyroid problems and also has a whole list of foods and supplements to take to support thyroid health.

This book contains the 90 day thyroid rehab along with delicious recipes, including the heavy metal detox smoothie.

The book ends with some thyroid healing techniques using energy and angels; and a whole section on sleep issues and insomnia.

This is a beautiful book for anyone, even if you are not dealing with a thyroid issue.

Book 4 - Liver Rescue

If you love reading and science, this is the book for you! This book is huge, it has over 440 pages and I have still not finished it. It will be particularly interesting for you if you love the really intricate details of how the body works. It will give you a whole new level of love and respect for your body and particularly your liver.

It has the 9 day Liver Rescue Cleanse, including lots of recipes. The health conditions that are covered are amazing:

  • Diabetes and Blood Sugar Imbalance

  • High Blood Pressure

  • High Cholesterol

  • Heart Palpitations

  • Adrenal Problems

  • Chemical and Food Sensitivities

  • Methylation Problems

  • Eczema and Psoriasis

  • Acne

  • SIBO

  • Bloating, Constipation and IBS

  • Brain Fog

  • Mood Struggles and SAD

  • PANDAS, Jaundice and Baby Liver

  • Autoimmune Liver and Hepatitis

  • Cirrhosis and Liver Cancer

  • Gallbladder Sickness

There is a section where specific supplements (including dosages) are recommended for conditions such as acne, adrenal problems, bloating, brain fog, constipation, dark under eye circles, diabetes, eczema, fatigue, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hormonal problems, IBS, inflammation, SAD, sinus infections, UTIs, weight gain and many more.

It also talks about high fat diets, so it may be of particular interest to you if you are following a ketogenic diet.

This is a big book that you will refer to many times over.

And there you have it - my summary of the first 4 books by Anthony William. I hope it helps you to make a decision. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter which one you start with, so if you are intrigued, just go with your gut, it won't be wrong.
